Ben Labovitz, Store Owner

Ben Labovitz opened Wild Birds Unlimited in February of 2018. He came to the business after a twenty-five career in Market Research and Consumer Insights with companies including Aramark, SCA Personal Care, McDonald's Corporation, and Information Resources, Inc. He has also worked as an independent market research consultant as well as a part-time “Writing Coach” for a business communications course for M.B.A. students at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. Ben has a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Drexel University. On a personal note, he’s a proud native of the Philadelphia area and lives in Wynnewood, PA, with his wife and two children.

Ben had been looking for a business that he could feel passionate about, as well as one that could serve an untapped market in the community, and Wild Birds Unlimited met both of these criteria. He's been feeding backyard birds for seven years, learns something new about birds almost every day, and truly enjoys engaging with both experienced bird feeders as well as newcomers to the hobby.
